Effective September 1, 2014, Seminole County Animal Services (SCAS) will only accept those animals that were found in Seminole County and have been brought to our shelter by Seminole County residents (photo identification is required). While this policy is intended to cover the processing of stray animals received over the counter, it also covers owner-surrendered animals unless those same animals had been adopted from our shelter. Please be sure to contact our shelter at phone #407-665-5201 with any questions regarding this policy.
